How do I access Sprint PDF Report inside my Jira Cloud project?
After installing from the Atlassian Marketplace, open any Jira Cloud board or issue. The Sprint PDF Report panel will appear in the right-hand sidebar of your sprint board, under the Forge Apps section. Click it to open the report generator.
Where are the generated PDF files saved?
Generated PDFs are attached directly to your Jira Cloud issue via Atlassian's native attachment API. They are stored entirely within your Jira Cloud instance — not on any Emkay Labs server. No PDF binary is sent to external systems.
How do I select the language for the PDF report?
In the Sprint PDF Report panel, use the language selector dropdown before clicking "Generate PDF Report." Supported languages are English (EN), French (FR), German (DE), and Spanish (ES). The entire report content — headings, labels, and automated insights — will render in the selected language.
How is the sprint financial cost calculated?
Financial cost is calculated using your configured hourly rate multiplied by the total time logged on sprint issues (worklogs). If no worklogs are available, the app can use story points as a proxy. You can configure the default hourly rate in the app's administration panel under Jira Settings.
Does the app require any permissions to access Jira data?
Yes — Sprint PDF Report requests standard Jira Cloud read permissions to access sprint and issue data. These permissions are declared in the Forge app manifest and reviewed by Atlassian during the Marketplace listing process. The app does not request write permissions beyond attaching the PDF to the issue you explicitly target.
Is Sprint PDF Report safe for enterprise use?
Yes. The app is built on Atlassian Forge, which means all data processing runs inside Atlassian's secure managed infrastructure. No Jira data leaves your Atlassian tenant environment. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
How does billing work?
Billing is managed entirely by Atlassian Marketplace. Charges are based on the number of users in your Jira Cloud instance. A 30-day free trial is available for all new installations. You can manage your subscription through your Atlassian admin panel.
